Would the US be better off with a Monarchy than a Republic?

Big money & political families rule US politics anyway, believe it or not your vote means almost nothing. So why not a Monarchy? Just keep most of the US Constitution/US law. No more wasting time & money on elections and the overall size of US Govt. would shrink dramatically.
