Writing a novel - Planing help?

I suggest outlining your plot, going into as many specific details as you feel necessary. Make a list of what you think will happen in every chapter. As long as you plan out your beginning, most of the middle, and the ending, then you won't write yourself into a corner, as many writers often do.
