Can someone please tell me if this is a good response to a page in the novel "A Brave New World"?

It's not bad for what it says, but I think that you're missing the essential point of the page, which is the shock for the character, having been accustomed to only a cleansed, technological, urban environment of encountering somebody from a completely different existence.
