How do you know if you have fall in love?

In my opinion, no one can really tell anyone what "true" textbook love is, because you have to decide when you fall in love. Besides that though, I'd say that you're in love with someone when you're completely selfless towards that person, that you'd much rather they be more successful or happier than you.
