Ive been trying to do a ollie on a skateboard for a few weeks now and i still cant do it!?

Ive looked at loads of tutorials on the internet but they all say different things. One says jump as soon as the tail hits the floor and another one says dont ever let the tail touch the floor. PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!
