Has anyone else noticed those who are intelligent but shy or nervous never get high well piad jobs, but those?

who are less intelligent and loud always get better jobs. Somone I know, for instance, is intelligent but refined and quiet, and so they can only get medial office jobs, while someone else is loud and annoying, and not very bright but has a good managerial job because they are loud and talk a lot
